Joules Woodland Tea Party

20140225-DSC_08052 Joules are best known for their quality country-style wear – think wellies, equestrian wear and lot’s of tweed! I love their clothing but when Joules contacted me and asked me what I would like to try from their website… I decided it had to be something from their beautiful crockery selection. (Plus a dress too, of course!)

Above are the bone china side plates which come in a variety of animal characters and colours. My favourite is the pink badger plate ♡ If it’s possible to make eating cake even more enjoyable, these plates made it happen. I love the bright colours and the little faces that look up at your food! Also pictured is the bone china milk jug which is very pretty and elegant – perfect for tea parties.

Here I am wearing the Navy Spot Calista Tunic – a very stylish and comfortable tunic (which I’m actually wearing as a dress because I’m so short) I love the buttons on the front and the way it hangs so elegantly.

I’m holding the fox cake tin which comes in a set of 3 tins (small, medium and large – the other two designs are pictured in the middle photo) Tins are always so useful, especially for someone who bakes a lot…

20140225-DSC_0822 A closeup of the bone china cake stand with the adorable fox print. It’s a decent size and seems very sturdy – plus it’s just plain cute. The cake is my homemade Cinnamon Cake with Sweet Chai-infused Raisins. It’s gluten-free and you can get the recipe here!

I had no idea Joules did crockery! Amazing! I love their accessories, especially my beautiful umbrella and stripy socks; from your selection I think the tins are my favourites. I have a bit of a thing for tins and in my new house I have to keep them on show on a shelf, so they need to be stylish! Time to drop a few hints…

Me too. I seem to have started a tin collection! These ones are great because they fit inside each other for easy storage when they’re not in use.

Really? Thank you so much! I wasn’t sure about it and was thinking of getting a designer to make a better one. But now I’m reconsidering… :-)
