This week I received my second foodie penpal post from Jackie, a lovely lady who is also living in the UK.
Foodie penpals is a way for food bloggers and blog readers to get to know each other, via a lovely parcel in the mail every month! Find out more and sign up over at thisisrocksalt.com/foodie-penpals/
I told Jackie I don’t drink ordinary tea but love fruity and herbal ones, so she sent me LOADS of fruity and herbal teas! I’m most looking forward to trying the Twinning’s Blackcurrant & Rhubarb, in fact, I’m going to make a cup now… *boils kettle*
This tea is amazing! I have to buy a box. Okay, onto the rest of the box, she has included some cute cookie cutters (I especially love the teddy bear one) and cake toppers, mentioning that she does a lot of baking with her children. How sweet :-)
Also in the box are some soup croutons – I love my soup so I’ll definitely enjoy these! Some flaxseed mixes, which I already use and love. Plus some cinnamon coffee. I don’t like coffee but I imagine this would be amazing in a coffee cake, so I’m going to save it for a recipe!
This month, I happened to be paired up with Ieva, my foodie penpal from last month, so it was nice to be able to send her some nice things back after the amaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing chocolate she sent me. I sent her some English tea, Green & Blacks chocolate, wasabi peas and an Indonesian spice mix. Hope you enjoy it Ieva! And thank you for my foodie parcel, Jackie. I love whats inside and look forward to trying the rest of these teas :-)
